-O.C.U.- Following a UN announcement that Huffman Island has ceased rising in elevation, the government has decided to launch a major survey of the island and establish an outpost. The primary goal is to develop the island as a tourist resort, but a great deal of interest also stems from a UN survey team's report of a potential wealth of natural resources lying beneath the seabed in the area around the island. However, in 2020 the U.S.N. petitioned the O.C.U. Central Parliament, the UN, and the E.C. for control of the island. Considering that none of the parties responded to the U.S.N. at that time, the decision to settle the island now marks a change of stance by the O.C.U., and many foresee an unavoidable clash between the O.C.U. and the U.S.N.
