-O.C.U.- At today's press conference, the O.C.U. prime minister revealed plans to stage major military exercises in the Pacific Ocean. The O.C.U. naval fleet stationed near Australia will perform its maneuvers in the Pacific; land, sea, and air forces will participate in landing exercises on Australia's shores. After the exercises, the fleet will train for another month at sea. Military action on this scale has not been seen since the end of the Huffman Conflict. Protesters have suggested that this action is little more than a thinly veiled demonstration of the O.C.U.'s military might, and will only escalate tensions that have been continuously flaring over border disputes since 2086.

-U.S.N.- The director general of the Department of Defense has dispatched a large segment of the Marine Corps to the U.S.N. territories on Huffman Island. A battalion's worth of soldiers is to be stationed on the island by the end of the month. Additionally, the U.S.N. is moving the majority of its armed forces from North to South America in the interests of self-defense. Most analysts state that this change in national defense and troop placement is to better control the increasing number of violent confrontations on Huffman Island.
